Meetings

A brief note

A club with a history written in letters of gold, 56 years in existence, 60 members & growing, 3 PDG given to the district, 3 permanent projects, 1 permanent service activity , medical camps being held every month would be an apt way to describe the club.

The growth of this club has been evident from its inception till today. The club continues to service the underprivileged and the needy located around the vicinity of the club in all aspects.

In keeping with the theme for the Lionistic year 2014-15, and with the slogan of our District Governor “Temple of Service”, the club has planned its activity around this domain. While freezing of a yearly calendar for its board and regular meetings, the club has also drafted a yearly plan for its activities. The club has designed its service committees with the needs of the area it operates, budgets allocated and  plan of action ready for achieving the committee goals.

Reach out, would be a major aim for the club this year. Reach out to the donors with appeals for funds. Service activities require funding and the club has taken on itself to reach out to the area and the corporates for appeals for financial aid.

The year has started with activities, medical camps, food aid programs, educational assistance and this will only be growing. A small family, a happy family is a saying. This small family of 60 members strive all out for bringing smiles on a big section of the society.
