Community Activity

Club celebrated 15th August at special school of AVA, Delanga with song, dance and debate competition among the children and special children. Dr. Ambika Prasad Nanda, Head CSR-Odisha, TATA Steel grace the occasion as the chief guest.

 

Youth Activity

Our club celebrated International Youth Day on 12th August in association with NIYATI FOUNDATION, ASSOCIATION FOR VOLUNTARY ACTION and THE VOLUNTARY ACTION FOUNDATION.

We trained and engaged 25 youth at ICS Pvt. Ltd. in their IT department.

  

Activity on Environment

Our club plantation program on 11th July 2015 @ AVA, planted 100 Acacia trees.

Activity with Children

Bring the smile for children :

"Bring the smile for children" giving nutritious food to around 220 children at AVA on 28th June 2015.

 

Community awareness 

World Anti Drug day :

Our clubcelebrated World anti drugs day at ekamra hata on 26th June.

Youth Activity

Engaging youth :

Engaged 28 youth as security guard in association with Protex Security Services (P) Ltd. Trainers from army background trained them.

 

Activity with Aged Persons (Old Age Home)

Dental Check up Camp :

At Association for Voluntary Action (AVA) club has organized a dental check up camp with aged persons. More than 30 aged persons were underwent the dental check up and counselling on dental care and prevention from different common problem during the old age. During the counselling it was found that all of them are in need some physical and mental work to keep themselves fit and active. The dental check camp was a unique experience.

Activity with Children

At Association for Voluntary Action (AVA) club has organized a dental check up camp with with children. More than 130 aged persons were underwent the dental check up and counselling on dental care and prevention from different common problem.

 

Hand wash awareness :

Hand wash awareness among the children through magic show.

 

Free Health check up camp :

Near about 120 children served with free medical checkup and medicine at a slum area of Bhubaneswar.

Community awareness 

Blood donation awareness :

National Voluntary Donation Day in association with State Blood Transfusion Council, Odisha.

AIDS awareness :

Aids awareness programe at Malisahi, Bhubaneswar on the occasion of World Aids Day with Hope Foundation and OSACS.
