The Amesbury Lions' Club, chartered in 1950 and with over 40 active members, is a leader in community service, sharing as family, friends and neighbors Lions International's core belief: community is what we make it.

 WE SERVE: Benefiting the Greater Amesbury Community: 

  • Amesbury Lions' High School Scholarship Program
  • Support for Our Neighbors' Table, Community Action's Food Bank, Amesbury for Africa, Amesbury's Holiday Gift Program, Lions' All-State Band, Amesbury High School's Football Banquet and much much more
  • Service time through Amesbury's Annual After-School Coloring Contest, Red Cross Community Blood Drives, semi-annual Amesbury Recycle Days, and much more
  • Staffing for Town Events, i.e. Amesbury Days, Santa Parade, Mayor's Car Show and much much more


Currently, the Amesbury Lions Club, is collecting school supplies for the town's elementary, middle and high schools. You can help children in school but giving the tools they need to succeed. There are going to be two collection boxes throughout the town. One being at the Town Hall and the other at the Senior Center. The items below are urgently needed:
