One ongoing effort is to send local children with disabilities  to the Texas Lions Camp in Kerrville this summer.

Texas Lions Camp offers sessions in June and July for special-needs children.

The Alpine Lions Club so far has arranged for six local children to take advantage of this fun summer adventure — and more participants are being sought.
