Radcliffe & Whitefield Lions Club has a proud and noteworthy history going back to the 11th of June 1970, when the club was chartered (officially formed).  The club serves it's communities just north of Manchester - England, and has managed a number of service activities and fund raising events over those 40 years to help local, regional, national and international causes.

We are currently undergoing a re-birth process, as all clubs do from time to time, where it's older members move on or over, allowing their junior colleagues to "take the wheel".

We are keen to recruit people, from all walks of life, who will help guide our club towards the next forty years of service.

Here we see our new members being inducted by District Governor Harry Hawksworth,(far left)  Past District Governor Colin "Rocky" Fosberry (far right) and, just out of shot on the right, is his lovely wife Past Council Chair Sylvia Fosberry.

With a new team on board it is an exciting time at R&W, and with a clean slate, a world of ideas and plans floating in the air, the challenge is going to be where do we start!

We are always looking for new members from Manchester and surrounding areas and you will find us a welcoming, friendly, diverse bunch, so if you're interested in getting involved - please, give us a call...
