Welcome to the Williamstown Lions Club! Nestled along the Ohio River in West Virginia, our club was proudly chartered in 1946. Since 1946, our club has been very active in the community, particularly in the area of Tomlinson Park. Lions installed competition league horseshoe pits, a large picnic pavilion with grills, helped build and refurbish the park restrooms and the pool's bathhouse and currently manage the soda machines. Our current Centennial project is to have accessible playground equipment so that all children may enjoy our town's beautiful, shaded park!
Williamstown Lions also do environmental projects, sell our traditional Christmas wreaths and as everyone in town knows, host a wonderful Fourth of July pancake breakfast in the park!
But above all, Williamstown Lions continue to serve the community as we have for 75 years through eye exams and glasses for those in need, vision testing for children and donations to the local food bank.
Would you like to give to the Williamstown community? Become a Lion! Please join us at our next event or meeting and say "Hi!".
