Whitehall Lions Club

The Whitehall Lions have been a part of Whitehall Township as a civic organization since May 5, 1951. Learn more about our History. Their projects and activities during that time have been numerous and challenging. Whitehall Lions are a part of Lions Club International, which is the largest civic organization in the world.

Our primary mission is to give assistance and aid to the blind and visually impaired members of our community "Whitehall Township". The Lions mottos is "We Serve".

The Whitehall Lions are always looking for new members (men or women) with new ideas who are interested in helping those in need. We  meet the first and third Mondays of every month, September thru June. A meeting usually consists of dinner, speaker and current business. You do not have to live or work in Whitehall to become a member of Whitehall Lions. Membership is easy, enjoyable, challenging and satisfying with the reward that you have been a small part in helping those in need.

The Whitehall Lions support our youth by sponsoring the Leo Club at Whitehall Highs School. The Whitehall Leos consists of boys and girls grade 9-12 who are learning to help those individuals less fortunate than themselves. The Whitehall Leo Club has been operating for over 30 years and have the distinction of being the oldest continuous Leo Club in the World. In addition to sponsoring the high school Leo Club, Whitehall Lioins Club also sponsors the Whitehall Coplay Middle School Leo Club which was chartered in Feb. 2012.

Lions Clubs International is the world's largest service club organization with more than 1.4 million members in approximately 46,000 clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas around the world.
