The Lions Club of Wellington North is a group of men and women (currently 13 of us) from all walks of life with a desire to serve our community.
Our club has its regular meetings (covering both dinner and business) at 6 pm on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday evening of each month (February-November), with guest speakers at some meetings. (Note that we have recently changed from meeting on the first and third Tuesdays of each month)
We currently meet at the Thistle Inn New Zealand's oldest surviving tavern and restaurant operating from its original site on the corner of Mulgrave Street and Kate Sheppard Place (near the Wellington Railway Station).
Lions are a network of 1.3 million men and women in over 200 countries who work together and share the satisfaction that comes from helping others.
