November 10 Meeting:
The members attending the meeting were L-R vice-president Lion Steve Smith, Lion Ann Smith, and secretary Lion Monica Smith.The club has been collecting used eyeglasses, which were turned in tonight to Zone Chair Lion LeeAnn Welch and Lion Charlie Buzzard
The Zone Chair gave the club members some good ideas for growning the club, including getting articles in the Wayne County News The club is also creating a Facebook page to help promote what projects it is doing and to interest potential new members.
June 9 Club Meeting:

The club has been collecting glasses, buying coats for children, and ringing bells for the Salvation Army. At tonight's meeting they showed an interest in distributing American flags and etiquette booklets to fifth graders at local schools. They will be displaying an eyeglasses collection box at The Wayne Diner soon.
July 21 Meeting:
The club was given a eyeglasses collection box by the Barboursville Lions Club, which is our sponsoring club. We plan to get additional boxes to be displayed at various locations around the area. People who have any old glasses can drop them into one of these boxes. Glasses collected will be sent to a distribution center in Virginia to be processed prior to being distributed to people in need of glasses who can't afford them.
The club is planning for Fall Fest in September. Club members need to be reminded of the District 29-O Fall Conference that will be held in Milton on September 26-27.
