I am happy to inform you that our membership strength is now 112 members. Assuming 75 family members attending the picnic, our picnic budget is increased from Rs. 15,000/- to Rs. 25,000/- .
Resort expenses is Rs. 350/- per person.
Total Bus expenses is Rs. 7,500/- (2 buses)
Due to exceeding the budget we have decided to contribute
Rs. 100/- per person and I am sure that you will agree & support me.
Note – Lions with their family members --Rs. 100/- per person.

The Board of Directors meeting of Lions Club of Vasai was held on Sunday, 24th July, 2011 at Moss Resort,Chandip, Shirsad Ambadi Road, Virar (E) .
The following resolution was passed regarding the change of the authorized signatories in the Bank.
The proposal of change of the authorized signatories for the Lionistic year 2011-2012 in the Vasai Vikas Sahakari Bank was proposed by Imm. Past President Lion Prashant Anant Patil and same was seconded by Lion Vikas Patole.
And it was unanimously Resolved that the present signatories in the Vasai Vikas Sahkari Bank Ltd. Charity Activities Saving A/c No.16574 and Administration Saving A/c No. 19160, Lion Prashant A. Patil (Past President) , Lion Vikas Patole (Past Secretary) and Lion Madhu Bagalkot (Past Treasurer)
shall be replaced by
President Lion Shankar K.T., Secretary Lion Rajeshkumar Baxi &
Treasurer Lion Dr. Prabhakar Kulkarni.
It was also resolved that above both account will be operated by Treasurer Lion Dr. Prabhakrar Kulkarni and President Lion Shankar K.T. or Secretary Lion Rajeshkumar Baxi (Two signatories are essential).

Congratulation to MJF Lion Raju Manwani for his endorsement for the International Director in Multiple convention 2011 will be held at Ahmadabad. We wish him all the best. Very hard Luck to MJF Lion Aruna Oswal , who lost the election by only two votes. We also wish her good luck for her Lionism carrier.
We also Congratulate MJF Lion Subhash Udaypuri (2nd VDG Elect)
Congratulation for all the 5 Clubs of Vasai & Agashi for the successive FRD.
Eye Camp was held by our club on 27th March 2011 at Ramedi Church in Association with The Vasai Blind Relief Association. Total 77 Cataract detected & was sent for the cataract surgery. Our funds for the camp was over exceed. “ When there is a will, there is a way “ , So we appeal to the District for the financial help. Donation was received from followings 1. Lion Aruna Oswal Rs. 20,000/- 2. Lion Shyam Malphani Rs. 20,000/- 3. Lions Club of SOL Rs. 11,000/- We are grateful to all the Donors for their valuable contribution.
In Satellite Service Week, we planned the project of Toilet Blocks in village Dhekale. As per the requirement our President extended the project from 3 to 5 Toilet Blocks, so there was shortage of funds. Again “ When there is a will, there is a way “. We thanks to Lions Club of Juhu who contributed Rs. Sixty thousand for the Toilet Block project. There was an appeal from Mr. Vajubhai Valodra for the treatment of Chemotherapy. We forwarded the matter to Lions Club of Juhu and happy to inform you that we received a cheque of Rs. 10,000/- from Juhu club for the same.
As you know, Lions Club of Juhu also contributed Rs. 50,000/- for the Shed of Sneh sagar Ashrma for Orphans.
We thanked Lions Club of Juhu for their contribution of Rs. 1,40,000/-towards our project performed in the Lionistic year 2010-11. Secretary, Lion Vikas Patole

installation of mahila aghadi president on 8th august at4.30pm at the residence lion coutinho at the hands of club president mjf lion prashant patil.lion malti kulkarni the out going president of lions mahila aghadi handed over charge to incoming president lion lily coutinho.
bod meeting was held on 6th march at 8.30p m.16 members attened.last years audit report was not submitted till date.the anxity persists.
nomination commitee was formed.consisting prashant patil,dr kulkarni,patole,tavkar ,gavankar,ramesh jadhav.and arun chavan.ramesh to head the comitee.
close door meeting fixed on27th march.
meeting was fallowed by dinner.
