Our History:
Valdese Lions Club was chartered November 9, 1936 by Lions Club International with the purpose to serve the community of Valdese, North Carolina.
The Valdese Lions Club is a dedicated group of individuals who, through fund raising and sweat equity, sponsor and support programs and services in Valdese, Burke County, and across North Carolina.
Over the years the club has seen many members come and go, but the Valdese Lions have never wavered in their dedication and perseverance to serve the residents of its community.
Lions Clubs International is the world's largest service club organization with more than 1.4 million members in approximately 46,000 clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas around the world.
