Where there is a need, there is a Lion.
We invite you to join us as we serve our community.
Our mission is to empower volunteers and partners to
improve health and wellbeing, strengthen communities,
and support those in need through humanitarian service
and grants that impact lives globally, and encourage peace
and international understanding. And we fulfill it every day,
everywhere we serve.
We are known for our cooking. We partner with Ukiah Player Theatre for 2 Murder Mystery Dinner Theatres each year. We also man the kitchen during other non-profits fund raising events such as Boys and Girls Club, Ukiah Senior Center, and VFW to name a few. Our largest event was Mendocino Strong which benefited fire surviviors in our community. We gathered other local lions clubs and cooked 1500 Tri Tip dinners in 4 hours. |

We are proud of our Pedal it Forward program |
This program was launch in 2015. We saw the need for bicycles for children in our community. A dream was born. With the help of our local bike shop, Dave's Bikes, and a donated warehouse from a local business owner, Duell Parks, a dream came to life. We gather gently used bikes, Wal Mart returns and then we bring them back to life. Occassionally we need to purchase bikes. We have donated bikes to Ukiah Valley Christmas Effort, Redwood Childrens Services, Tapesty Family Services, Back to School Bash to name a few. In total as of this writing our donated numbers exceed 400. We supply a helmet with each one.
When you see these shirts, you are watching Lions in action.
We wear them any time we help.
Lions Clubs International is the world's largest service club organization with more than 1.4 million members in approximately 46,000 clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas around the world.
