A New Beginning Becomes an Ending

January 12, 1966 - June 30, 2019

Tysons Corner Lions Club has been through a lot in the last two years. We lost one Lion who moved, two Lions who retired from Lions, and one from illness. Then we lost two members who transferred to another Lions Club. We wish to thank these Lions for their years of service in the Tysons Corner Lions Club. We will miss them and we wish the very best for them in their new endeavors.

So, the remaining members met with DG Jay Moughan to discuss what to do. He encouraged us to continue as a club and he offered support with two Guiding Lions, Lion Anne Ryan, and PDG Jim Ryan. The club decided to forge ahead.

The club has reevaluated and decided (unanimous) to disband . We have been working with DG Wilma Murphy to make sure we do this properly.

We appreciate the encouragement and guidance that we have received from our Guiding Lions, and other Lions Clubs.

If you have need of a Lions Club, we would recommend the Vienna Host Lions Club.
