A Brief History

Trivandrum Metropolis club was chartered on 14 August 2000 with a membership of thirty and charter presented by the then District Governor Lion K.P.A Haroon. Today the club has a membership of twenty five. The club has been very active at the district level and has carried out many service projects to help the community. Major projects are construction of three houses under Home for Homeless, improvement of three more houses, distribution of over twenty sewing machines, distribution of wheelchairs, scholarships for under privilaged students, facility augumentation of anganwadis, general and SightFirst medical camps, etc. Members of the club have served the distict as cabinet members occupying various international portfolios. Second Vice District Governor 2017-18 Dr. A G Rajendran is our charter member.
