The motto of the Lions is "WE SERVE".

The Tappahannock Lions Club has been doing service for 77 years.. Founded in April, 1942 by Fredericksburg Lions Club we have been serving the counties of Essex, Richmond County, and King and Queen Counties.  There are now 35 members to help serve.

We have received many awards thoughtout the years for outstanding service.  Lions International celebrated 100 years in 2017. We are very proud that our club was awarded the Centennial Award for Service in Youth, Environment, Hunger, and Vision.  We are now serving in those areas plus Childhood Cancer.

So please join us as we serve our communities while meeting new people and having good fellowship.  This is the club for you!
