Celebrating 55 Years

We celebrated 55 years of service to the community in April 2020

The Stow Lions Club was chartered in April 1965, with twenty four members. The club has grown over the years and today two of the original charter members are still active in the club.

We celebrated our 55th Anniversary Charter Night this year virtually via zoom. We began using zoom to conduct meetings in March of 2020 due to the pandemic. As a result we had to cancel most of our normal fundraising and service events in 2020, however we did have a very successful Christmas Trees sales event! Looking ahead to 2021, we are hopeful to be able to do more of our outdoor related fundrasing events.

Lions Make a Difference

Lions are groups of service-minded men and women who are interested in improving their communities. To be a Lion is to be an active volunteer, a member of a respected international organization, a leader in the community and a friend to people in need.

The 1.35 million members that serve in over 45,000 clubs from over 200 countries make Lions Clubs International the world’s largest service club organization. Experience the rewards of joining the Stow Lions Club.
