The St. Croix Lions Club School Vision Screening Program first phase was conducted from Tuesday October 9th t0 Friday October 12th at the St. Croix Central High School .11 members from the club participated in the four day event with two members from the Frederiksted twin City Lions Club and one member from the Frederiksted UVI lions Club. The no of students screened were 671 out of a total of 1076, with several hundred referred for further evaluation.This program was started in in1993 and is a collaborative effort between the club and Pearle vision Center who provide the technical services and free eye exams.
