About Our Club
The Lions Club of Singapore Sentosa is part of Lions Clubs International, the world’s largest affiliation of service clubs. Chartered in December 1987, members of the club comprise males and females from all walks of life, from businessmen to professionals and retired Leos who are brought together by an interest to carry out the Lions motto: We Serve.
Major projects organised by the Club include International Food Fairs, Charity Golf Tournaments, Charity Dinner Theatres. Beneficiaries include the Lions Home for the Elders, Cheshire Home and the Singapore Children’s Society.
In addition to the major projects, the Club organises regular bi-monthly food ration distribution to Lions befriendees residing in one-room HDB flats, and visits to various welfare homes including Convalescent Home under the Singapore Children’s Society, the Lions Home for the Elders and the Jamiyah Home.
The Club also carried out various community health awareness programmes such as health screening at community centres, HDB void decks and shopping centres.
To promote better international understanding, the Club twinned with the Lions Club of Medan Host in 1995.
Apart from working on service projects, we organise social activities among members, families and friends to promote fine fellowship, closer relationship and teamwork.
