 Pakistan Flood Victims Looking Forward to Lions Of Pakistan and International Lions

Pakistan:  Call To Pray and Help Flood Affected Across the Country … Thousands dead and 2.5 million homeless.

      Massive rains and subsequent flooding in Pakistan has claimed the lives of thousands of people and left 2.5 millions homeless across the country. Thousands of villages have been submerged into rivers and millions of houses, roads, bridges, as well as standing crops and livestock, have been swept away.

 

The worst disaster in the history of Pakistan and bigger than the 2005 earthquake.

      However, millions are still trapped and an acute shortage of drinking water and food has been reported. Diseases have broken out in the affected areas, and desperate people are waiting for help under the open sky. To make matters worse, more rains and flooding has been forecast. Requests have been made to international friends and organizations to support this urgent relief work.People have been donating food and clothes, but now the flooding is so massive, that we need the kind support of international community.

      Being Pakistanis and Specially Being Lions, It is the time to come forward and help our brothers who were badly affected in this disaster. Taking a immediate initiative President Lion M Waseem called an emergent meeting of the club to discuss this issue with the other honorable members of the club. With in no time club collected a handsome amount for the relief project.

      Club was in full coordination with District Governor 305 N2 Lion S A Shakil, Lion Dr. Ahmed Shafi, PDG Lion Asad Ashraf and PCC Lion Haji AsafClub decided to go to Noshera city (KPK) which was badly affected by the flood. Club initially took Packets of Food Items  along with Mineral Water Affected Families.
