Meetings

Merry

Christmas

from the Shelton Centennial Lions Club

It's been a busy year for many of us and now the Christmas season is coming quickly. Here's a little news of your club and an invitation to attend our Christmas Gala:

- Two new members were inducted into the club at the last meeting: Ann Marie Genovese and Randy Netherlin. Give them a warm welcome. We now have 24 members.

- There is no meeting this month due to the Christmas holiday.

- We had an Apple sale and netted a nice profit for the club to invest in our community.

- Planning has begun for a Park Clean up at the North Cliff Neighborhood Park.

- Progress has been made to authorize an Adopt a Road clean-up, more to come as the county helps us get set up for it.

- The January and February Meetings will be held at alternate locations due to the regular dates falling on holidays when the senior center will be closed. Check back with us for an update.

December 20 at 12:00 Please add this date to your December Calendar for our annual Christmas Party. It will be held at Eric Onisko's home, 808 Kristi Ct, Shelton 98584. A trivia contest and other activiites will be included. See me (Jerry Richards) and present the secret word "Shazam" for a prize. All members and friends are invited. No charge for the party but we ask that you bring a new Teddy Bear with tags that will be donated to the fire Department for their toy drive. More info regarding what to bring to follow. We look forward to seeing you all there.
