WELCOME TO THE RUTHERFORDTON, NC WEBSITE!

Our club is located in Rutherfordton NC, in the foothills of Western North Carolina.  We serve the Rutherfordton, Spindale and  Forest City areas.  Our club was formed on October 14 1954 with 25 charter members.  We currently have 17 members.

We are part of the Western District of NC: District 31L. 

Usually our meetings include a meal, a business meeting, and ocassionally a guest speaker from a local business, charity, educational organization, or government agency. 

Membership is open to anyone who is at least 18 years old, of good moral character, and committed to the work, ideals, and Code of Ethics of the Lions.  Each member must be sponsored by an active member and approved by the Board of Directors.  Following the application and approval process, a candidate is asked to join the organization.
