Pictured below are three Rushville Lions who played a major role in the 2018 District OH7 Convention held in Lancaster,Ohio, the weekend of March 2-4, 2018.  Left to right are: Lions International Director Joyce Middleton, Rushville Union Lions President Paul "Chip" Friesner, Ohio Lions Council Chairperson Betty Robbins, Convention Chairman Rushville Lion Don Hillyard, and Ohio MD13 OH7 District Governor Rushville Lion Dave Stockum.  Lion Chip started his term July 1, 2018, as the president of the Rushville Union Lions Club, the same day Dave ended his term as OH7 District Governor.  Dave was the first Rushville Lion to serve in that position.  Lion Chip is ably assisted by Lion Kevin Wilson as First Vice President, Lion Nicole Osborne as Second Vice President, and Lion Roger Snider as Third Vice President.  Hosting the District Convention for the first time, the Rushville Union Lions were lauded for their hospitality and organization, and thanks to their planning, the convention had the largest attendance in many years.
