We have done it again!

After last year's very successful event our club again ran a charity drive that concluded at the wonderful Lions Camp Duckadang with dinner, entertainment and a great auction, then overnight accomodation and breakfast.   The funds raised from this event go to supporting both Camp Duckadang and youth in need by funding their couselling camps there

Guest speaker

Great to have Cassie Paton from the Logan East Community Neighbourhood Association (LECNA) along as a guest speaker at our monthly meeting last night Our club has been a long-term supporter of the Association and she brought our members up to date with their range of services, activities and facilities

Here President Trevor presents her with our traditional speaker gift of a Lions Hearing Dog reusable coffee cup with a few other goodies inside

2024 Lions Awareness Day

Thanks to Bunnings at Underwood who allowed us to set up our information table in a prime location in their store for Lions Awareness Day on the 2nd March.   Great to talk to so many people about the great work that Lions do in our community and get contact details for some potential new members

Anniversary Plaque
To recognise both the 50th Anniversary of the charter of our club and the 75th Anniversary of the formation of Lions Clubs in Australia we have placed a plaque in the entry garden of the newly renovated Springwood Mall.   There was a formal dedication of this on the 11th February
