Robina Lions & friends having fun in the Community
The first Lions Club in Australia was formed in Lismore in 1947. Now there are more than 1200 clubs with approximately 27,000 members.
The Lions Club of Robina was formed in 1988 with both male and female members. The Club received its charter from Lions Clubs International in February 1989. Members range in age across the entire spectrum.
Robina Lions give back to the community by giving time to, and by raising funds for international, state or local community projects. However, being a Robina Lion is not all work. We also make time to enjoy ourselves by holding regular social events such as BBQs, dinners, Race Days, Theatre Nights and other special events.
As a member of a Lions Club, you can make a difference ! 100% of funds raised by Lions are returned to the communities.
