PLAINFIELD LIONS CLUB
Our community's best kept secret!
Our Motto: "We Serve"
Mission Statement: To empower volunteers to serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace and promote international understanding through Lions clubs.
Vision Statement: To be the global leader in community and humanitarian service.
One of our Purposes: To encourage service-minded people to serve their community without personal financial reward, and to encourage efficiency and promote high ethical standards in commerce, industry, professions, public works and private endeavors.
Who Are Lions?
- Lions are groups of service-minded men and women who are interested in improving their communities. To be a Lion is to be an active volunteer, a member of a respected international organization, a leader in the community and a friend to people in need.
- Our 46,000 Clubs and 1.4+ million members in 210 countries make us the world's largest service club organization.
Lions are best known for their efforts to eradicate preventable blindness. However, we are much more. Lions are serving their communities through vision projects, youth engagement, services for children, health initiatives, disaster relief and more.
Being a Lion allows you to help change lives, even if you do not have a lot of spare time. You can commit as much time as you wish and as your schedule allows.
Lions are ethical and honest. We give 100 percent of donations back to the community and cover all oour operational costs through membership dues.
Where there's a NEED, there's a LION in your COMMUNITY and around the WORLD.
For 95 years, the Plainfield Lions Club has been giving back to the Plainfield community, Hendricks County, the State of Indiana and the world.
Why We Need You
