After 25 years a new Lions Club was established in Suriname - Sub District 60A Region 1 making us the youngest Lions club in Suriname. Our charter date is 20th of April 2017 and our Initiator and first president is Lion Jerry Hoffman MJF.
The main focus of Lions Clubs Paramaribo East is to change lives through service for worthy causes. All funds raised by our club are generally from our local community and are used for charitable purposes in our local community. With a new vision on how we can contribute to the aims of Lion Club International we are determined to make a difference in our community.
