Papatoetoe Lions Club is a small sized club situated in the South Auckland suburb of Papatoetoe.
We presently have 24 active members, both young and older. The club is presently looking for new members to allow us to continue on into the future fo serving our community.
Activities that the club members take part in are:
- Regular street collections
- Catering for sundry activities.
- Age Concern
- Christmas Wrapping at Botany Centre.
- Papatoetoe Christmas Parade
- Collecting eye glasses for the Vision in the Pacific Project
- Collecting childrens books for the school libraries in Fiji
- Tree Planting
- Peace Posters at local schools
- Speech Competitions at local schools
- Volunteering to help at various community events
- Running the Lions Van for community groups
- Many other activities
The President is Beverly Duncan and the Secretary is Chris Litherland
Our Meeting hall is at 25 Kolmar Road, Papatoetoe. Our hall is situated in the Acacia Court. We meet on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month.
