Check out the Palisade Lions Nobody Floats Life Jacket Project! Current locations are Mississippi River accesses at Berglund Park, Wold's Ferry Crossing and near the bridge on 169 between Paliasde and Aitkin. Another is located at the South Waukenabo Lake public access. If you need a life jacket, please take one. If you have extra, please leave one. Contact a Palisade Lion if you are interested in sponsoring a sign. Cost is $250.

Community Lunch Program

Meals are served at 12 noon on Mondays and Thursdays at Bethel Lutheran Church in Palisade. Children, elders, and Palisade residents who would like to share a meal and stay for some good conversation are encouraged to participate.

Please note: community meals will be pick up only (no dining in) until further notice.


The Little Free Library is open to the public.

It is located in front of City Hall on Main Street Palisade. Feel free to borrow a book and or leave a book.

If in need or would like to donate, a Little Free Pantry is also available outside City Hall.
