Oakmont Lions Club
Making a Difference…
Everywhere, Every Day!
“We Serve” is the motto of the Oakmont Lions Club. The Oakmont Lions, founded in 1940 have been serving Oakmont and the surrounding area for over 75 years. The Lions collect used eyeglasses which are reconditioned and donated to the less fortunate. The Lions also assist with eye exams and glasses for those in our community who cannot afford proper eye care. The Oakmont Lions support the Leader Dog School, Blind & Vision Rehabilitation Services of Pittsburgh and the Beacon Lodge. The Lions are active in the community. They lend their support to the Oakmont library, Len Anderson Christmas Fund, RCAC, Boulevard Project, local food bank, Oakmont Historical Society and Riverview School Musical.
The Oakmont Lions Club meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6:15pm for dinner and a meeting at Longwood at Oakmont. If you are interested in joining us, e-mail Oakmontlionsclub80@gmail.com . The Oakmont Lions are proud that 100% all money raised is donated back to vision and community charities.
