North Beach Lions Club is part of Lions International, the largest service organisation in the world, but our heart is right here in our local community. Our members are everyday people from all walks of life doing what we can to make a difference.
The Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) was established in 1968 and provides grants that empower the service of members and clubs to improve health and wellbeing, strengthen communities and support those in need through humanitarian service. Our Projects & Community Impact
We are proud to serve our community through a wide range of hands-on projects and fundraising activities.
💛 Supporting People in Need
We offer practical and financial help to individuals and families facing hardship:
1.Assisting the homeless.
2.Displaced people and refugees.
3. Supporting women’s shelters.
4. Families in crisis.
5. Helping local disabled with equipment to enrich lives .
🧒 Youth & Education
We’re passionate about helping young people grow into confident, capable leaders through the Lions Youth of the Year' competition. Further support is provided for local schools and Scouts.
💪 Community Health & Wellbeing
We support physical and mental wellbeing through activities and events that bring people together.
1.Sponsoring Riding for the Disabled.
2.Sponsoring Motion by the Ocean.
3 Helping at XTR events and Relay for Life.
5.Club social events.
Through these activities we endeavour to promote a healthier, more connected community.
 
🤝 Local Community Spirit
Our club is a familiar face at local gatherings:
Cooking breakfasts for: North Beach RSL on Anzac Day.
Churchlands Primary School Parents and Kids Sleepout.
Sausage sizzle at community or sporting group events.
We get involved with larger events:
City to Surf,
MSWA bike ride
The Royal Show.
 
🌿 Environmental & Sustainable Action
We care for our environment through initiatives such as Australia Day Clean Up and Containers for Change, keeping our community clean and promoting sustainability.
 
🔥 Fundraising for Good
Our fundraising efforts power the financial assistance we provide
1.Bunnings BBQs
2.Lions Christmas cakes and puddings
3. Special events like Walk for Wellbeing.
Funds raised support both local , State and Lions Foundations (Childhood Cancer, Diabetes, Alzhiemer’s, Save Sight, Hearing, Wellbeing, and more).
