Who are the LEOs?
The New Fairfield Leos Club is an organization sponsored by the New Fairfield Lions Club. It provides town youth with an opportunity for development and contribution, both individually and collectively, as responsible members of the local, national and international community.
History
Since the club’s chartering in January 1998 by the New Fairfield Lions Club, LEO members have worked on a variety of projects in our community. In addition to assisting the New Fairfield Lions Club with its projects and events, the LEOs Club has participated in several Habitat for Humanity projects, done fall yard cleanup for local senior citizens in need, assisted the school PTOs with events such as the Harvest Fair and school book fairs, run reading and craft events for children at the New Fairfield Public Library and organized their own fundraisers. There are more than 5,500 LEO clubs in 138 countries. While helping others in their community, LEOs develop leadership skills and experience teamwork in action.
