The Annual New Fairfield Lions Club’s Carnival

The New Fairfield Lions Club’s Carnival 🎡 🦁 opens for its 2023 season on Tuesday, July 18th and runs through Saturday, July 22nd from 6:30pm to 10:30pm at the Consolidated School Field off Gillotti Road in New Fairfield, across from St Edward the Confessor Church. This annual event has brought smiles to many children and families throughout our town and neighboring communities for years. Parking is available in the church parking lot. Please keep the parking lot clean.

The NFVFD is a Volunteer Fire Department that also provides the town’s emergency medical services. The department consists of three fire companies to cover each area of New Fairfield. Ball Pond Fire Company, Fire Company A, Squantz Engine Company,

Wednesday, July 19 is Lions and Leos Club Night!

And a Toy Collection Drive

Pediatric Cancer Night

We will be accepting toy donations

Suggestions:

Play-Doh (single cans or sets)

Crayons and coloring/activity books

LEGO and LEGO Kits (small and medium kits only)

Playing cards and UNO

Cars and trucks

Character figurines and playsets (superheros, princesses, etc.)

Stress relief items (stress balls, fidget spinners, pop-toys, etc.)

The New Fairfield Lions Club is made up of passionate individuals who are dedicated to making a positive impact on our community. We take pride in coming together to solve the problems facing those in need and are fully committed to fostering an atmosphere of respect, collaboration and inclusion.

Together, Leos and Lions form a powerful partnership—one of mutual respect, where Lions learn from the innovative insights of Leos,and where Leos gain access to the proven strategies of those who’ve successfully served the world for decades.

The Leos Club is 30 plus members strong and from all different and interesting backgrounds. They come together with a sense of service to help others. It is open to members from grades sixth to twelfth and it's a great way for students to build friendships, earn community service and build skills they will have forever, all while having fun.

New Fairfield Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts

Troop 42 of New Fairfield is a boy-led troop, offering a Scouting program with an emphasis on camping and outdoor skills. Our Scouts actively practice the leadership skills they'll use as adults.

Girl Scouts of CT, providing girls of all ages the tools they need to develop healthy relationships is at the core of Girl Scout’s mission of building girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place.
