Mission Statement
The Mounds Lions Club serves our community by supporting the needs of vision and hearing impaired through fundraisers and collection of recyclable items such as eyeglasses, old keys, small size empty ink cartridges, etc. We also provide support toward the Global Lions Clubs International Humanitarian Service.
Purse Raffle to benefit vision and hearing impaired. Purses for all occasions and all sizes are being raffled, they will be placed in a beautiful basket that will make a great Christmas gift. Thank you for your support. Telethon of Stars MoundsLions Club President Retha Eurales, District Governor Derek Eurales and Lion Kanesha Eurales well represented the Mounds Lions Club at the Telethon of Stars on November 14, 2020 at WPSD-TV Channel 6. Funds were contributed through our traditional Road Block.

What does the Mounds Lions Club do? I am glad you asked that question, come on take a tour of our photo gallery, you will be able to see what the Mounds Lions Club members are involved with in our community. Our motto "We Serve" is what the Mounds Lions Club members do without hesitation. If you would like to learn more about us, we invite you to attend one of our meetings held on the 1st or 2nd Tuesday of each month. Contact us via email. Mounds Lions Club History Mounds Lions Club Recycling The Mounds Lions Club collects recyclable items (see below) that we donate to the Lions of Illinois Foundation. These recyclable items are used to improve the quality of life for those who require visual equipment, screenings for vision loss, and campaigns to inform the public about Lions of Illinois Foundation causes and it helps those we serve.
The Lions of Illinois Foundation recognized our club through an email on September 19, 2020 our recycling program. Because of your donations we were able to donate the following to the Lions of Illinois Foundation: -160 pairs of eyeglasses
-32 ink cartridges -0 hearing aids -4 cellphones/chargers -10 pounds of metal keys These donations will be used to improve the quality of life for those who require visual equipment, screenings for vision loss, and campaigns to inform the public about our causes. Your generosity helps us, and more importantly, those we serve. "GO GREEN"
