The Montebello Lions Club honors and remembers Past District  Governor Bill Walters. Lion Bill was a friend to all of us and the best Lion we have ever known, he will be missed.

The Montebello Lions Club thanks you for your support.

Members of the Lions Club strive to make Montebello and surrounding communities a better place to live for all!

All proceeds from our sales go back to the communities helping our residences.

  • Scholarships for High School Seniors

We invite you to become a member of our Lion’s family and share in our community service.

You are invited to attend our meetings and learn more about us. We meet the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Tuesdays at 6:30 at the Montebello Senior Center-115 S. Taylor Avenue, Montebello CA 90640. Due to Covid-19, we now meet online. Contact Lion Manny Sanchez for details at  



Special thanks to the City of Montebello and Montebello Lions Club members for building a playground in partnership with Keurig Dr. Pepper, Northgate Markets, and KaB00M!

We had a total of approximately 200 volunteers from Keurig Dr Pepper, Northgate Markets, the City of Montebello, and Montebello Lions Club with the work and organizers from KaBOOM! to transform Montebello City Park.

The Lions Club of Montebello Charities Foundation


The Lions Club of Montebello Charities Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is the foundation arm of the Montebello Lions Club which is a service organization that has assisted the community since 1925. 
Our services have included providing free eyeglasses and eyesight services to the needy.  We have also provided youth scholarships, sports sponsorships, and co-sponsorship for community holiday events. 
To provide these services the Lions Club conducts several fundraisers throughout the year.

 - Our Club continues the fundraiser that ALL Lions can contribute to – Cash 4Shoozs. Please Ask your friends, family, neighbors, co-workers to save their gently used shoes for us! Each Lion is challenged to bring in 50 or more pairs of gently used shoes. Bring to any Tuesday meeting. This is an ongoing project and the shoes will be picked up when we have accumulated 3,500 pounds. We have six garbage bags loaded so far, but need MORE!!!
