Lions Club of Miriswatta- Piliyanalda was auspiciously chartered at the Mas Induction ceremony under the Governorship of Lion Arjun Abeysinghe PMJF on 19th May 2015 at Susiri Reception Hall at Miriswatta.  The installation club officers was conducted by  Lion  PID  Ranakrisnamurthi MJF who was the chief guest of the ceremony.  The club was extended by the Lions Club of Mampe under the guidance of Lion Nalin Mapitiya who later served with Lion Ajith Liyanage   as the Guiding Lions.

Lion Nuwan Ballantudawa was the  Charter President   and the 20 young men and women from different professions ad business became the members of the club.

Lions Club of Miriswatta- Piliyandala is an emerging lions Club in the District 306 A2 building a healthy and friendly relationship with neighboring clubs.

Club  service priorities are "Youth and leadership " , " Environment "  ," Education and schools"  and " Natural Disaster relief work".

Leo Club of Piliyandla Central Collage was extended by Lions Club of Miriswatta-Piliyandala in  May 2017.
