Welcome to the Minden & District Lions Club
The Minden & District Lions Club have served the local area of Minden Hills since being chartered in June 1985. Several projects in the early years gained the club recognition as a true "service club", but it was a bold decision to purchase and operate the local Doctor's Offices in 1995 that solidified their presence in the community.
Whether supporting the new hospital, youth programs, flood victums and special needs of families, the Lions members work hard with the aim of building a great community for all to live.
Congratulations to Lion Fwin and Paul Norry on your recognition as Melvin Jones Fellow and Lion Rick Lichty who received the Lions Clubs Camp Kirk Foundation Fellowship, Pictured here with IPP Lion Brian Smith
Welcome to our Newest Member Lion Marah, seen here with President Fwin and her sponsor, Lion Brian
The Minden Club is part of District A-16, Region 52, Zone North.
President's Message
Off on a new adventure. The Minden Lions have been busy during the first few months of 2020. Several activiites are being planned, with info listed here on our Web Page. First up is the Yard Sale, a joint project with our Lioness Club on May 16th. After the Canada Day Celebrations and BBQ, we will once again be hosting our 5th Annual Charity Golf Classic at Beaverbrook Golf Club on July 5th. And of course, each month we hold our ever popular Spaghetti Dinner at the Lions Hall.. Hard work by the members of our club.
Minden is a beautiful place to live, and the Lions are doing their part to enhance the community. Sponsoring of the Music by the Gull, or cleaing up along the roadside, Lions are active in our community. If you are interested, please drop us a note at mindenlions@lionsa16.com.
