MIDLAND VALLEY LIONS CLUB - LANGLEY, SOUTH CAROLINA

The Midland Valley Lions Club was chartered on 10 July, 1941 by the North Augusta & Aiken Evening Club. Since that time, Lions have volunteered their time and efforts to serve the Midland Valley community and are committed to providing assistance to hundreds of South Carolinians who have seeing or hearing impairments. Members can be seen during fundraising events, parades, and community service projects which address the needs of South Carolinians on local, state, national and even international levels.

There are many charitable organizations and clubs in the area, but by joining the Lions Club you can rest assured that 100% of all donations are used towards South Carolinians in need. Midland Valley Lions Past President James Cosnahan made a donation on behalf of Midland Valley Lions in excess of $14,000 which will help pay for surgeries, eye glasses, and hearing aids for many South Carolinians who may not be able to afford it on their own.

We meet for Dinner the 2nd and 4th Mondays of every month, at the Midland Valley Lions Clubhouse beginning at 7:00 PM and conclude approximately at 8:00 pm; however, many members continue to fellowship after the meeting. We take pride in serving our community and others, and we enjoy becoming better acquainted with our neighbors during the many social events and community activities throughout the year.
