Here's What's Up Doc!

NH Lions "Relieving Hunger" Campaign

The Merrimack Lions will be collecting donations for the town's local food pantries at Shaw's North from 10:00 to 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 1, 2014.  Please help us support our town's pantries at the St John Neumann, the St. James Methodist, and the Riverside Churches!  As the weather gets colder and with the holidays nearing, more and more families find themselves in need of help!  So if you cannot make it to Shaw's on November 1, but still would like to make a donation or support the cause, feel free to contact us at merrimacklions@gmail.com as we support the pantries with donations throughout the year.  Thanks! 2014 Annual Spring Carnival

The annual Lions Spring Carnival was held from May 8th to 11th at the Merrimack Commons.  As usual there was plenty of rides for the kiddies and a number of rides for the rest of us older kids.  Thanks to all that attended and supported the Merrimack Lions Club.  The Merrimack Lions promote many in-town projects to help the community.  (Top)

2014 Annual Kid's Ice Fishing Derby A Huge Success

After a brutally cold winter, it was nice to have some mild temperatures for the annual Lions fishing Derby at the Merrimack Winter Carnival. The temps were in the 40s, the ice was nearly 20" thick and the fish were sleeping. We had about 60 young participants try their luck at ice fishing while enjoying hot chocolate and chicken soup. Lions Dennis Hanson, Phil Przybyszewski, Art Cusato, Dick Lehtinen, Alan Hoye, and Paul Pearsall helped with the fishing while Jeff Smith, Pat Fuller, and John Richards helped with the Leos fundraiser in the building.  (Top)
