Glasses for Children in Need

In 1925 Helen Keller challenged the Lions to become the “Knights of the Blind”.  The Martinez Lions Club carries on this tradition in a special way.  We have partnered with the local school nurse in Martinez to provide eye glasses for those children who are unable to afford them.  Over the years we have provided eye glasses for over 250 children so that they can do better in school and hopefully have a better future.
