All money raised going to Rainbow Club which helps local disabled kids learn to swim.

 

 Recent Achievements

September 7th  Trivia night at South Coogee Bowling Club raised $7017.60 for Alzheimer and Parkinsons research thanks to Lainie and John.

Wednesday 28th August     Mr Geoff Ingram OAM gave a talk about Diabetes  & Kids Camp

Monday 19th August to Saturday 31st August FATHERS DAY RAFFLE at Pacific Square.

Wednesday 14th August  Claire Moylan and Rob Wynn told us about Spinal Cord Injuries Australia.

Sunday July 28  John and Laioie worked 4 hours with Coogee Lions Tree Day bbq and made $250 to go to Neurology Research.

Wednesday  July 24    District Governor Warren Latham    accompanied by his wife , Lion Marilyn and Cabinet Secretary Dale Campbell attended the  meeting.  The District Governor addressed the meeting about his goals for this year and Cabinet Secretary Dale showed some new Lion advertisements.  CLICK ON NEWS (ABOVE) FOR PICTURE

Wednesday July 24  We ran a barbecue for ELGAS tanker drivers from 4:15am to 3pm.     John, Lainie, Fran, Dean and Bob put in  64 man hours.  Donation to Alzheimer and Parkinson's research.

Wednesday July 10   Maroubra Changeover Dinner meeting at South Coogee Bowling Club.     NSW Leo Coordinator Gail did    the Changeover.   It was a fun night.

Saturday July 6    Four members of Maroubra Lions joined Bondi Lions in their changeover at  the ten pin bowling club in Mascot.  (12 mhrs)
