The Manawa Lions Club was formed July 3rd, 1929.

Their Mission Statement - To Create and Foster a spirit of understanding among all people for humanitarian needs by providing voluntary services through communtiy involvement and international cooperation.

A wheel chair ramp was built in November for Tim Trull at his business; The Lindsay House Bed and Breakfast.
