Community Support Project

The Lions Club of Llandudno have been busy over the past few months making contact with various local charities and good causes. Because of the difficulties many organisations have with fund raising during the Covi-19 pandemic and the restrictions put in place, the Lions have been continuing to support the local community. But now, we are finding it difficult to raise funds as many of our events have been cancelled or postponed. So an Community Support Project has been put in place and via Virgin Money Giving, we hope to raise money virtually online - a virtual bucket collection.

So far, since the UK lockdown, the Llandudno Lions have donated nearly £10,000 to various local good causes. We want to continue this trend but we need your support.

It is unlikely that we will be able to hold our Christmas fund raising activities which raising over £5,0000 to community projects.

Please help us help Llandudno and the community in which we work and serve by following the link to our Virgin Money Giving page.

Joining Forces

2020 Update.

Due to the Covid pandemic, all of our antique and collectors fairs have been cancelled until the social distancing measures have been relaxed enough for us to use the Town Hall Assembly Rooms.

Thanks to all our stall holders and customers for their support and we hope to be back in the Town Hall, Llandudno, as soon as possible.

2018 - 2019

The Lions Club of Llandudno and Happy Faces Childrens Charity have joined forces to run a monthly antiques and collectors fair. For over two decades the Lions have run an antiques fair but with changing times and costs the club needed to reinvigorate their fair. As the club has supported Happy Faces on a number of occasions, the charity was approached to see if they would like to going into a joint venture with the Club. The first joint fair was in December 2018 and over the past few months the fairs have grown in popularity. This is important not only for the fund raising aspect but a steady footfall of visitors make the effort worth while for the dealers as well. Without these ladies and gentlemen there would not be an antique fair.

For enquires into the fair please contact Ray Herbert of Happy Faces on 0796895177
