Meetings

 

  • Collect used eyeglasses, clean, sort, repair, and distribute them to the needy.
  • Provide scholarships to Hancock County High School Seniors.
  • Provide eye doctor visits and/or eye glasses to qualifying individuals.
  • Kentucky Lions Eye Foundation - Free eye surgery depending on eligibility.
  • Vision Van - Free vision screenings for adults.
  • KidSight - Free vision screenings for kids 5 months up to 5 years.
  • Provide a free pancake breakfast to all the morning of the Christmas Parade.
  • Provide the "Santa" Float for the Lewisport and Hawesville Christmas Parades.
  • Provide a meeting facility free of charge for 3 days each year to qualifying non-profit organizations.
  • Donation to the Hancock County Build a Bed Project.
  • Donations to help make improvements at the Hancock County Fairgrounds.
  • Donations to the Hancock County Care and Share Program.
  • Leader Dogs For the Blind - Provide a seeing-eye dog to blind individuals.
  • Donations to Lions Camp Crescendo.  They offer three one week long camps to qualifying children.

1. Camp for children with Aids or HIV positive or a member of the family is affected

2. Camp for foster children.

3. Camp for blind or visually impaired or hearing impaired children.

  • Various other service activities as the need or needs arise.
