Youth Speech Contest

Lions held our annual speech contest in December, 2023 with the topic, "With which historical figure would I like to speak?". Our club winner, Amelia Fyfe, is a freshman at Leominster High School, and spoke about Princess Diana and her numerous accomplishments. As our club winner, Amelia received a check fot $100. Amelia then went on to compete on February 10, 2024 at the Lions District 33-A MidWinter Convention and competed against three other students in central Massachusetts and came in as second runner up and received a second check for $250. Congratulations Amelia on a job well done! Amelia appears with Speech Chairperson, Pauline Carulli on left photo and with Club President Cathy Gaudet and Pauline Carulli on the right photo.
