The Menomonee Falls Lions Club and Lannon Lions Club were both local chapters of Lions Club International, the worldwide service organization founded in 1917. Their mission focused on community service, charitable fundraising, youth activities, vision assistance, and support for local organizations.

The Menomonee Falls Lions Club was founded in 1946, also served the greater Menomonee Falls community for many years through blood drives, vision-related programs, transportation of donated corneas and eye tissue, and support of local civic organizations. In February 1956, the Menomonee Falls Lions Club made a major donation to the Menomonee Falls Fire Department. They gifted an International Harvester Metro Van, which served as the village's first multipurpose rescue squad vehicle, aiding victims of drowning and medical emergencies. The club remained active for decades and had strong involvement in community service projects throughout Menomonee Falls.

The Lannon Lions Club was officially formed in May 24, 1965 with sponsorship from the Sussex Lions Club. Early projects included youth sports programs, launching the grade school flag football program, providing scholarship support, hosting pancake breakfasts, community fundraisers, and contributing to improvement at local parks and ball fields. Over the decades, the club became well known in the Lannon area for its volunteer work and for helping build and support the Lannon Lions Community Center at Joeck’s Park.

Lannon-Falls Lions Club: The two chapters joined forces to better serve both communities, and now known as the Lannon-Falls Lions. They remain highly active and are best known for their community projects—raising funds for the community center at Joeck’s Park and hosting the famous all-you-can-eat pancake breakfasts. They continue to sponsor community events, pancake breakfasts, spaghetti dinners, Special Olympics support, scouting programs, and other charitable activities throughout the Menomonee Falls and Lannon areas, while carrying forward the legacy established by both original Lions Clubs.

The Lannon-Falls Lions are proud to say, WE SERVE!
