LaMOURE HIGH SCHOOL PROVIDED INTERESTING PRESENTATION....
LaMoure High School students and chaperones returned from the annual sponsored educational and fun trip to Washington, DC. They were gone March 24-30, 2013. Several of the students and adults presented a slide show presentation for the LaMoure Lions on Monday, April 15th. The day had been a terrible winter storm day, with no school, but we sure were glad to see the storm end and the program still presented. Their journey included visits to the Smithsonian, Kennedy Cemetery and the changing of the guard, Botanical Gardens, Space Museum, Founding Farmers Restaurant, Crime & Punishment Museum, Washington Monument, Korean Memorial, WWII Memorial, Viet Nam Memorial, the Old Post Office and many, many other attractions. Our impression of the trip overall was WOW, what a educational packed experience. The students said to they learned alot!
