100th AnniversaryOver 47 Years serving Lakefield & surrounding communities!

Every journey begins with a single step. One act of service, one encouraging word, one gift of generosity is often all it takes to bring hope where it’s needed most.

Over the last 100 years, the kindness of Lions and Leos has multiplied across borders, oceans, and continents. With over 1.4 million members, we now have an opportunity to truly change our world.

That’s why we’re uniting our global service around five areas of need Diabetes, Vision, Hunger, Enviroment and Childhood Cancer. These Global Causes present significant challenges to humanity, and we believe it’s our turn to meet them. We invite men and women 18+ to learn more and help us on this service journey.

Some of the ways our Club helps others:

  • Assisted local children with hearing and vision screening
  • Raised money for pediatric cancer clinic at PRHC so that children could have treatments locally
  • Donated funds to aid in Ukraine as well as hurricane victims in Newfoundland and the Maritimes
  • Winter wear clothing drive for clients of the Lakefield Food Bank
  • Donated funds to the Lakefield Curling Club for necessary renovations
  • Collected and distributed 100's of toys annually to underprivileged families
  • and much, much more!
