Agriculture Fair & Duck Curry Competition
On the 25th and 26th of March 2017 Lions Club Kwatta held the anual Landbouwtentoonstelling (argicultural fair) in association with the Ministry of Argiculture. The theme of the fair was Voedselzekerheid en biodiversiteit - Stimulering en ontwikkeling van het agrarisch potentieel in Suriname (Food security and biodiversity - Encouraging and developing the agricultural potential in Suriname). The goal of this argicultural fair was especially to encourage the youth to get interested in argiculture.
On the 26th of March Lions Club Kwatta also held the popular Duck Curry Competition. Together with the argicultural fair, we had a total of more than 16.000 visitors on both days combined. Another huge succes for Lions Club Kwatta.
