The Jekyll Island Lions Club is an active service organization that generally meets the first and third Tuesday of the month, Sept thru May. Members gather at Trebuzios Grille for dinner and a meeting at 6:00 pm. 

Here are some of the programs and activities that the Jekyll Lions support:

  • Lions Camp in Waycross, Georgia
  • Publish and sell the Jekyll Island Telephone Book
  • Display American flags on national holidays
  • Ring the bell during the holidays for Brunswick Salvation Army
  • Collect eyeglasses and hearing aids for Lions Lighthouse
  • Sell Amish cheese in Fall and Winter
  • Support LCI organizations

The Jekyll Island lions Club is sponsoring an American Cornhole League Local Points Tournment and a Casual Tailgate Cornhole Tournament on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at the Jekyll Island Club Resort Morgan Center . Check in /registration will begin at 9am with games beginning at 11 am. Funds raised by these tournments will benefit the blind and sight impaired of Southeast Georgia .
