QEH/PCH Foundation
The Hunter River Lions Club proudly hosted a Cabinet Meeting and encouraged donations of sleepers for the QEH and PCH Nursery. Giving back to our community is at the heart of what it means to be a Lion, and small acts of kindness can make a lasting difference for local families. Lions Shannon, Mary, and Crystal were honoured to deliver these cozy donations, helping support our tiniest community members and reminding us that together, we can build a stronger, more caring community.
Guide Dogs Canada
The Hunter River Lions Club is proud to support Guide Dogs Canada and their important work providing greater independence and mobility for Canadians living with vision loss.
We invite the community to join us for an upcoming Dog Walk fundraiser on May 31st, held along the Confederation Trail in Hunter River, starting at Dr. Kent G. Ellis Heritage Park. This family- and pet-friendly event is a wonderful opportunity to come together, enjoy our local trail, and help make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who rely on guide dogs.
